Keller Williams Realty and CitiMortgage: Helping You Help Homeowners
As part of our relationship with CitiMortgage, Keller Williams Realty associates will soon have a unique opportunity to help tens of thousands of homeowners on the verge of foreclosure.
In the near future, CitiMortgage will begin a pilot program of a marketing campaign to delinquent mortgage holders, encouraging them to consider a short sale as a solution to their mortgage hardship. Within this mailing, select KW agents will now have the opportunity to be positioned with these homeowners as a resource for listing and completing their short sale.
To qualify for inclusion in these mailings (which will feature agents in the target market on a round-robin basis), you must meet the following criteria:
- Completed KWU’s Short Sale Mastery One-Day Intensive Training, sponsored by Citi®
- OR Completed the Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE) training
- OR Completed NAR’s Short Sales and Foreclosure Certification Program (SFR)
- OR Completed Five Star Short Sale Certification Program
- AND you must have experience with short sales.
To prepare for this opportunity,
I have found that FeedBurner is an excellent tool that will work with the Keller Williams eAgentC web site.
You will need to have a Google account (any Gmail account will work).
Visit the feedburner service page to begin this process at http://feedburner.google.com
Sign in using your Google email and password.
In a separate tab or window, go to your WordPress Blog. Scroll to the bottom. Look for “RSS 2.0”. Right click and “copy shortcut”. You should have something like this – http://mgeslock.wordpress.com/feed/ .
Go back to Google Feedburner page. In the “Burn a feed right this instant. Type your blog or feed address here:” box add your RSS feed – (http://mgeslock.wordpress.com/feed/). Hit Next.
You can change the name of your feed in the Feed Title box. Then click next. You will see “Congrats! Your FeedBurner feed is now live. Want to dress it up a little?” Press next and next again until you get to the “Your feed is ready for the world. Now what?” page.
Click on the “Publicize” tab, and then click on “BuzzBoost” in the list at the left side of the screen. At this point BuzzBoost will give you a number of different options. You can choose how many items (posts) you want to be displayed, if you want the links to open in the same window or a new window, displaying the feed title, displaying the date, and several others. One of the options is “display item content.” If this box is not checked all that will be displayed is the title of the blog post, and if that box is checked you can choose to display the entire post or a brief excerpt in plain text or HTML. Once you have everything set the way you want it, click “Activate” at the bottom of the page (you can easily change these settings later).
Copy and Paste the Code
Once you choose your settings and activate BuzzBoost you will be provided with the piece of code. Copy the code provided by FeedBurner and paste it into your page wherever you want it to be displayed.
The code will look something like this –
This is what you will cut and paste to your focus box on your eAgentC web site.
I heard this today ~ Passion and Action.
If you think about it is really simple. If you have passion for something take some action.
Don’t let anything stop you if you are passionate about it.
